I went to Kiehl’s yesterday. I needed to re-stock on my moisturizer and makeup remover. So I took my empty bottles with me to recycle them (Kiehl’s has a card where you mark all the times that you recycle an empty bottle and you get a reward after a number of bottles). Since this week it is Earth Day week, Kiehl’s is doubling the stamps you get on your recycle card, so instead of getting just two stamps, I got 4.
I got my moisturizer and my makeup remover and some other products for free :D.
My Kiehl’s entire haul consists of:
- Ultra Facial Cream
- Washable Cleansing Milk
- Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 in Pear (Gift)
- Hand & Body Lotion in Grapefruit (Gift)
- Bath & Shower Liquid Body Cleanser in Grapefruit (Gift)
- Assorted Samples
I love Kiehl’s and how generous they are with their samples. After I get back from Sweden, I will try out some creams and their hair stuff. Right now, I’m in savings mode and trying to cut all of my expenses. However, my skin is not something I’m willing to cut back on, specially when I have a hard time finding products that work for me.
In case you didn’t know, I got an iPhone 5 last month. I did a little freelance gig and was able to whip the money to get it without affecting my savings for my trip. Don’t you just love extra income?
